The Houston-born singer announced the news on Thursday.
Beyonce has teamed up with Adidas to help victims of the deadly storms in Texas.
The Houston-born star confirmed her BeyGOOD foundation is working with the German sportswear giant and Houston’s Bread of Life to offer financial aid to those in need. The fund will give up to $1,000 to people who have successfully applied for help through Bread of Life’s Disaster Relief Assistance Application Form after harsh winter storms killed at least 38 people and left millions of homes without electricity and running water.
“BeyGOOD and Adidas are working with Bread of Life to bring urgent relief to those suffering as a result of the winter storms,” read a message on Beyonce’s Instagram Stories on Thursday. “If you are in Texas or any state affected by these storms, you can apply for assistance at breadoflife.org/disasterrelief.”
A tweet from the BeyGOOD foundation also showed its support for the victims of the natural disaster.
“Visit @BreadoflifeH for more information on assistance. We send our prayers to those impacted by the winter storm,” the message read.
Freezing temperatures are expected to continue in Texas and surrounding states, and there is a shortage of food and water in the area.
Beyonce is no stranger to working with Adidas, having collaborated with the company on her successful IVY PARK collection.
