With affordable prosthetic care, Limbs for Life gives amputees their lives back.
Across Texas, thousands of individuals face limb loss with no insurance, no financial support, and no way forward. Limbs for Life exists to change that. We step in where others can’t—providing fully funded prosthetic limbs for those who would otherwise go without. Today, we are honored to be the largest payer of unfunded prosthetic care in the state of Texas, providing more than $1.2 million in prosthetic limbs to Texans who had nowhere else to turn. This impact is only possible because of the generosity of our donors.
Kelly
Kelly was involved in a seven-car pileup while riding his motorcycle—a crash that nearly took his life. After life-saving surgeries and the loss of his leg, he refused to let the accident slow him down.
The Texas native lives with purpose and a passion for serving others. He supports a summer feeding program, volunteers as a coach for kids with limb differences, teaches jiu-jitsu, and serves as a CPR instructor. Every step he takes is a reminder of the life-changing power of access to prosthetic care.
Sarah
Sarah, a Dallas native, was born with a congenital abnormality that resulted in the loss of her leg. Today, she is a devoted stay-at-home mom, navigating life with strength and resilience.
Limbs for Life made it possible for Sarah to receive the prosthetic care she needed to live fully. Your support helps give the gift of mobility and independence to people like Sarah.
Richard
When Richard was on his way to work, his car stalled on the side of the highway, so he called his father for help. As the two men worked on the car, a distracted driver struck them both. Richard’s father was killed instantly, and Richard lost his leg in the crash.
With his fiancée (now wife) by his side through recovery, Richard received the advanced prosthesis he needed to get his life back on track—all thanks to Limbs for Life donors.
