St Paul’s Cathedral is to become a book lovers’ paradise.
Bookworms can spend the night in the ultimate literary destination – the Hidden Library at Paul’s Cathedral.
This magical space hidden within the cathedral will open its doors for the first time to overnight guests later this month (March2024).
Hosted by Airbnb and announced to coincide with World Book Day on 7 March, this unique experience offers guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in a curated collection of over 22,000 books.
These will range from timeless classics to upcoming releases from Penguin Random House US. The library will be the setting for a night surrounded by books, including unreleased titles like Holly Jackson’s The Reappearance of Rachel Price, John Grisham’s Camino Ghosts, and Kevin Kwan’s Lies and Weddings.
Guests can also enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant, followed by an exclusive tour of the iconic cathedral led by the Dean of St Paul’s. The experience concludes with a refreshing breakfast and the opportunity to climb the breath-taking dome of St Paul’s Cathedral, leaving you with lasting memories and signed copies of upcoming Penguin Random House US releases.
The exclusive stay is available for the night of Friday, 15 March, and opens for reservations on 12 March 2024 at 10 am GMT on airbnb.com/hiddenlibrary. Priced at just £7 for two adults, it’s a chance to make literary dreams come true amidst the rich history of St Paul’s Cathedral.
