Filled with fibre and antioxidants, pears are excellent for improving gut health and fighting inflammation. The delicious bell-shaped fruits are available year-round, making them a great snack choice for every season. Pears pair nicely with warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, ingredients like lemon and chocolate, and creamy cheeses like Wildwood from Stonetown Artisan Cheese.
As the temperatures cool, try this deliciously earthy salad, layered with romaine lettuce, rich and creamy Wildwood cheese, and sweet juicy pears. It’s the perfect autumn treat.

About Stonetown Cheese
It was always our dream to produce delicious, high-quality cheese reminiscent of the renowned Swiss Mountains. In 1996, we immigrated to Canada, with our three children in tow, to start our own dairy farm in St. Marys, Ontario.
With a profound commitment to creating cheese of the highest quality, our humble dream became a reality. Our cheese is handcrafted alpine-style cheese made with fresh whole cow’s milk from our family farm. To ensure our cheese is pure, natural and of the highest quality and taste, the milk we use is unpasteurized and additive-free.
Our commitment to producing high-quality cheese is best reflected in the care we give to our Holstein cows. They live in a clean and comfortable free-stall barn, sleep year-round on beach sand, and enjoy feed of the best quality.
